About me
Hi, My name is Koon Vega. Since 2000, I’ve been working in brand development, coaching, storytelling, and design for local, national, and international clients. I have great experience in client and team relationship management, cultivating a good working environment for everyone in order to complete the work with excellence.
I live in Oklahoma City with my wife and two kids. We like to make home cooked meals with ingredients from our garden and fresh eggs from our chickens, and we love to see places around the world!

Bloom Apartments + Modern Office Suite
When Hunter Buick, a partner at Anthology, reached out to rename and rebrand one of Oklahoma City’s most iconic luxury apartment properties, we heard a clear desire for meaning, not just a new look. Through research, conversations with the community, and close collaboration with Hunter, we developed Bloom, a name inspired by a song he loves.
The concept draws from a modern art museum, where form supports expression. Minimalist design and a bold black and white foundation create the setting, while the residents and their lives become the exhibition. “Life in moments” brings a modern take on everyday life into the brand, capturing its color and connection. We loved working with Hunter, and we’re both excited about how Bloom turned out.
Chiropractic House
When Nic Robison, owner of Chiropractic House, reached out to rebrand his business, he wanted an identity that moved beyond the familiar look and feel of chiropractic branding. Working closely with Nic, we shaped the direction around his belief in healing and his passion for helping people.
Gentle, meaningful language and minimal design express a sense of relief and comfort, giving the brand a distinct presence while reflecting the personal care Nic brings to his work.
KinFolk Family Farm
Sade and her husband, Devon, started KinFolk Farm and Shop to bring good, clean, organic food to their community and restore a closer connection between food and people. Alongside providing quality food, they help people understand where it comes from and learn to grow their own.
Rooted in the history of Black family farming and the way of life surrounding it, KinFolk had a meaningful story to tell. We shaped the brand around those roots, using thoughtful design and photography to bring that history into the present.
The marketing strategy began close to home, connecting with residents of the Wheeler District in person. Printed materials, supported by a focused social media presence, helped introduce KinFolk to its neighbors and create opportunities for conversation.
Family-ID
Since 1997, Family ID has helped families discover their identity and build a lasting legacy. As the faith-based nonprofit grew, it needed a stronger brand to reach more families and connect with new partners.
We worked closely with Derek England and Greg Gunn to develop a new logo, brand guidelines, and book cover designs, giving Family ID a consistent identity that reflects its purpose.
The new branding gave the team greater confidence in sharing their work and was warmly received by the families and partners they serve.
Intent
For Hilary McAlister, INTENT is a dream realized and a divine calling. Located in Edmond, Oklahoma, the boutique contemporary dance studio reflects her love for dance and people, creating a place where she can mentor students and share a vision for a meaningful life through movement.
We worked with Hilary on the branding and strategy from the ground up. Artful, honest, and expressive imagery celebrates the beauty of the body in motion. Minimal design gives those visuals room to speak, adding structure gently and only where needed.
With imagery at the heart of the brand, the marketing strategy centers on Instagram and Facebook. We continue to create regular content and engage personally with followers, carrying Hilary’s care for people into the studio’s online presence.
Elemental Coffee
As one of downtown Oklahoma City’s first specialty coffee houses, Elemental Coffee has poured its heart into serving the community. That care begins with a rigorous sourcing process, selecting distinctive, high-quality beans and producers who care for the environment.
As part of their rebranding, we worked on a new e-commerce website, product photography, and lifestyle photography to reflect the care behind their coffee and the community around it.
A highlight of our work together was creating a slogan that put their love for coffee into words: “Coffee, Wholeheartedly.”
